A fishing trip to Casa Vera is an opportunity
to (re)discover trout fly fishing at its best !
The quality of the waters, the abundance of hatches, the density of native brown zebra trout of all sizes
guarantee you will see ris es, and catch trout on the dry ! In the absence of hatches, trout still easily rise on well presented flies.
It's also the best way to make progress
in learning new fly fishing techniques,
like Euro nymphing or wet fly fishing.
Ever changing weather conditions obviously play a big role in successful fly fishing in the mountains of Aragon, but most of the time fishing is possible on all rivers. In the worst of cases, like floods or gale winds, there is
always a fly fishing possibility due to the great variety of
rivers near Casavera.
The 3 main and closest rivers to our home are the
rio Gallego (10 to 20 minutes), the rio Aragon (20 to 30 minutes) and the rio Ara (30 to 45 minutes).
But just a little further are the Rio
Cinca (50 minutes to 1 hour) and the Aragon Subordan (50 minutes). These 5 rivers are, each in their own way,
real treasures of nature and bio diversity.
OUR 2024 RATES :
Full accommodation in our guest house (all prices are per person) :
Weekend : 3 nights, 3 to 4 days of fishing:...........590 Euros (based on 2 fishermen)*
Week : 7 nights, 7 days of fishing:............ 1190 Euros/pers (based on 2 fishermen)*
One night/one day excluding weekends:........................200 Euros (May to July and September/October)
One night/one day excluding weekends: .......180 Euros (March, April and August)
Everything is included :
Full board accommodation (breakfast, packed lunch from the breakfast buffet, dinner, drinks), Aragon and Catalonia fishing licences (if necessary) and up to 2 day tickets for the best river stretches (Cotos sociales)
Daily fishing support (access to rivers, advice on flies of the moment)
Possibility of getting a professional fly fishing guide for tuitions (extra charge, booking to be made in advance)
The choice of rivers depends on your taste, but also on weather conditions and water levels.
It is possible to fish two cotos on the same day !
In order to confirm your booking, a 50% deposit will be requested (refundable in case of cancellation).
We also ask you to provide us with a copy of your passport in order to apply for fishing licences and cotos.
